How long will my stuffie be at the spa?

Spa visits typically last up to 5 days. We will schedule a spa week with you ahead of time so your stuffie is away for the shortest time possible.

You will mail it a week before your scheduled Spa Day to give your stuffie time to arrive and we will mail them back to you as soon as their visit is complete.

What if you find additional repairs that are needed?

Place your stuffie in a plastic bag if you can (to protect from water), then in a box or mailer. Because delivery is to a PO Box, you will need to ship through the US Postal Service.

Sometimes surprises happen during a spa day. If we find anything that needs extra repair, we will contact you before doing additional work and discuss options and pricing.

We do our best to gently clean and repair each stuffie while keeping their personality and well-loved look. They will still be your same best friend, but a bit cleaner.

Keep in mind that some stains, wear, and fading are part of a stuffie’s story and may not come out completely.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from Second Snuggles.

You will box and ship your stuffie to Second Snuggles.

Upon return, shipping will be added to your spa invoice.

  • USPS Ground Advantage: $6.95 (about 3-5 business days shipping, tracking available)

  • USPS Priority Mail: $14.00 (about 1 -3 business days shipping, tracking available)

What if my package is lost in the mail?

Second Snuggles is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

Are their risks during cleaning and repair?

Because some stuffies are older or well-loved, unexpected things can happen during washing or repairs (fabric thinning, seams opening, color fading, etc.). We handle each stuffie very gently and will contact you if any issues arise.

What type of environment will your stuffie be in?

Second Snuggles operates from a home workshop, so your stuffie will always be kept in a safe, indoor environment. This is a non-smoking home. While there are cats and rabbit in the home, they are not allowed on or around spa guests, though we (the humans) interact with them.

Will I get updates?

Yes! You can receive photo updates if you would like throughout the process.

By sending your stuffie to Second Snuggles, you understand that while every spa guest is treated with extreme care. Some stuffed animals, after gentle washing and repairs, may reveal weak fabric, loose seams, or other issues that were not visible before.

Second Snuggles is not responsible for damage due to age, wear, or shipping.
